Sheila is AgWO’s Project Coordinator and holds a bachelor of science in global health with a specialization in health promotion & disease prevention from York University. She has experience working with a broad range of communities, including agriculture workers in Costa Rica. Alongside her clinical and healthcare administrative experience, she is passionate about specialized program delivery and promoting accessible health education. Her interest in working with the agriculture community comes from summers spent at her grandparents’ ranch in Peru and through experience urban farming with her mom. She recognizes and admires the deep connection present in the ag community and is committed to building accessible supports to continue building this community up.
